Lisa Haglund, President and CEO of Heritage Ministries, recently celebrated the promotion of Carrie Johnstone to Executive Director of Vinecroft Retirement Community, a Heritage senior independent living community located in Clarence Center, NY.
Johnstone previously served as the Acting Executive Director. As Executive Director of Vinecroft, Johnstone will be responsible for sales, business development, and oversee all teams and operations.
Haglund shared, “We are honored to welcome Carrie to Vinecroft as our permanent Executive Director. Carrie has an extensive history in senior housing, including seven years as a member of the Heritage team in Western New York. We know that she will lead our staff with grace, love, and appreciation as they continue to embrace and provide our residents with the same close-knit sense of community and vibrant lifestyle that Vinecroft has always been known for.”
Johnstone, a resident of Frewsburg, NY is a 2014 graduate of Fredonia State University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and minor in sociology with intensive studies in counseling and cognitive behaviors. She also holds a bachelor of fine arts degree in photography. Prior to joining Heritage, where she has served as both a Life Enrichment Director and Community Life Director in Chautauqua County, Johnstone worked in systems management for over a decade.
Johnstone added, “My career has allowed me to fulfill my passion for assisting those who are making their ‘next-chapter’ life decision. I am thankful to Heritage for this opportunity to grow and am excited to become the Executive Director at Vinecroft. We have incredible residents and staff, and I am delighted to have the opportunity to serve them each day.”
