Vinecroft Card Game

Vinecroft Card Game

How do you spend your time now? If you enjoy getting together with friends for a card game, you can still do so at Vinecroft. If you like to take walks, you can still take walks at Vinecroft. If you like to shop, read, attend cultural events, surf the internet, golf, or volunteer, you can continue to enjoy all of the activities that are currently part of your life.

One of the many advantages of living at Vinecroft is that you have more activities and events from which to choose. Plus you will meet new friends from the neighboring towns of Clarence, Amherst, Tonawanda, Akron , Lockport, Cheektowaga and more thereby widening your circle of friends and acquaintences.

Take a look at what life is like in a planned living community.

Our Activity Coordinator will get you up and out.  Recent trips include shopping at Vidlers in East Aurora, Hot Fudge Sundaes at Alethea’s Chocolates, a concert by The Friends of Hamony, High Tea at The Lord’s Garden in Eden and a trip to see the Bisons, to name just a few. Every Wednesday our Activity Coordinator takes a group to various establishments throughout the Western New York area for lunch.

More of a Home Body? Thursday afternoons find the scrabble players challenging their verbal skills. Saturday mornings are for our lecture series.  Topics as Great American Composers to the Confessions of St. Augustine are sure to invigorate your mind. Once a month our book club meets to share their thoughts on fiction and non fiction books. Let’s not forget the Wii players, movie watchers and of course the card and bingo players. Our Vinecroft senior men keep themselves busy playing pool, tossing darts and eating out on Men’s night out.

Twice a year we throw a fabulous party for the residents and their families, including a sumptous buffet at Christmas and an all out family picnic complete with entertainment for the children in July.  Sound like fun?  Come join us!
